What an affiliate link is
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy something after clicking one, the retailer pays us a percentage of the sale. You pay the same price you would have paid otherwise. Affiliate links are marked in the link text and carry a rel="sponsored" attribute.
What that does and does not buy
- No brand or retailer can pay for inclusion, placement, or a score.
- No brand or retailer sees a review before it publishes.
- Commission rate is not a scoring factor, and the person running material verification does not know the rate.
- We publish negative findings about retailers we have affiliate relationships with. If we could not, the relationship would end.
